The year started North of us in Whistler, joining friends at the winter home of Lawrence and Donald. First stop on the month-long celebration of Larry’s 80th birthday.
His request was a weekend in Santa Barbara, so we planned a quiet trip up the California Coast.
We were celebrating dinner when, “SURPRISE”, we were joined by old friends Lisa and David.
Next stop, Cambria, where, “SURPRISE”, we were joined by Ray and Yvonne, Larry’s brother and sister-in-law.
This year its been mostly small trips for birthday celebrations, trips to Florida for the opening of Universal's Epic Theme park , and to see friends and family.

Heading home, we landed at the Seattle airport and “SURPRISE” we changed gates and were off to Kauai. Larry was actually “SURPRISED” at every stop.
Not easy to plan all that in secret!!

When Larry turned 50, I surprised him with a Kauai trip. It was only fitting that 30 years later, we should do it all over again.
“Last Stop” was San Francisco, where we “SURPRISE” walked in on a party hosted by old friends Bill and Louisa, Tim and Gail, and Katie and Tony. They pulled out all the stops and made it so much fun!!!
